Adult Choir
Directed by Eunice Hager, the Monaghan Choir is a dedicated and talented group who sing songs of praise from their hearts. They practice on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:00 p.m. and perform at Sunday morning services from September- June. If you are interested in joining please contact Eunice Hager.

Hand Bell Choir
Under the direction of Nathan Young, the Hand Bell Choir is comprised of members of all ages and rings at both worship services about once per month from September - June. The Bell Choir practices on Monday nights from 7- 8:00 p.m. and they are always willing to welcome new members. If you are interested in playing, or becoming a substitute member please contact Nathan Young.

S.O.A.R. Band
Comprised of members from Monaghan, Mechanicsburg Church of God, Trinity United Methodist in New Cumberland, and Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church, the S.O.A.R. band is a contemporary and energetic praise and worship group. S.O.A.R. is an acronym for Serving Our Awesome Redeemer. The band serves God by occasionally leading Sunday worship services, holding a monthly Sunday night Spirit Fest, and performing at various community events throughout the year. They hold practices on Sunday evenings. For more information, contact Sandie Ressler.

Fellowship Groups

Play Group
The Play Group is a fellowship opportunity for preschoolers and their parents. The group meets the first and third Thursdays from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Free play, a short story, craft and snack fill the hour quickly. Stacey Mooney is the coordinator for this group.

Krackerjacks
Krackerjacks is a fellowship group for children in grades 3-6 that meets the third Sunday each month at 12:15 for lunch, discussion and activities. Parents of Krackerjacks also meets at same time for discussion and support. Mary Speedy is the leader of the group this year. Download Permission Slip

Monaghan Youth Fellowship
The Youth meet throughout the year for community service, fellowship and worship. Their events are always posted in the bulletin, newsletter, calendar and website. Youth in grades 7 -12 are encouraged to attend Youth activities to meet new people, spend time with friends and praise God. Lincoln Milner is the Youth Advsior assisted by Mary Speedy and others. Monaghan Young Adults and Families
The Monaghan Young Adults group holds various social and faith-based activities for those adults between the ages of about 21 and 40. If you would like your e-mail address to be added to the group’s e-mail distribution list, please contact the church office.

Additional Opportunities

Hungry Eaters
The Hungry Eaters is a group of Monaghan members who enjoy building their relationship with Jesus Christ together. They meet periodically to go out to dinner. There is always room at the table for you, so keep your eye on the bulletin, newsletter, calendar or website for their next event.

Quilters
Do you like to quilt? Have you always wanted to learn how to? Gather up your fabric squares and join the Monaghan Quilters on each second Monday night at 6:30 p.m. and the fourth Wednesday at 6:30pm for an evening of sharing, caring and quilting. Quilts are donated to the Outlook Pointe assisted living facility in Dillsburg, New Hope Ministries and baby quilts to Pinnacle Health.

Tuesday Club
The Tuesday club meets the first Tuesday of every month at the church. They have coffee and enjoy time together, and then perform small tasks in the church and around the church property.
